The chillers for soap industry can be classified into Roll mill or soap podder chillers and die set chillers.
Die-set chillers work within the range of -15 deg C to -25 deg C and are used to supply chilled water to the moulds of the soap presses. Drycool chillers in soap industry are used to facilitate the soap bar extraction from the die set without damaging the surface of the stamped surface bar. If chillers are not used, stamped soap bars will stick on to the die sets and it would be problematic to remove them.
The soap podder chiller or the roll mill chiller for the soap industry work within a range of 10 deg C to 15 deg C. It is used cool the heat generated by friction between the soap and rolls or screws. If the chillers are not used then the production rate of the soap roll mill or soap plodder is hampered.
